Possible vehicle thief caught on camera in Peachland

A potential thief was caught on video surveillance trying to break into several vehicles in Peachland early Thursday.

Nick Kramer, who lives on Inglis Place, provided his home security footage to Castanet.

The video clearly shows a man try the door of a vehicle parked on the street before walking up a driveway.

He peered into the window of two more vehicles and pulled on the door handles before leaving the area.

All three vehicles were locked.

The man was also seen on another surveillance video trying vehicles at another home on the street.

According to Kramer, a neighbour down the street had their vehicle stolen overnight.

That case has been turned over to RCMP.
