Multi-million dollar soccer dome ready to open

After more than two years of discussion and debate, West Kelowna's newest sports facility is set to open.

The City of West Kelowna will officially open the multi-sport dome Saturday, Nov. 16.

Mayor Gord Milsom is expected to cut the ribbon during a ceremony slated to begin at 10 a.m.

The facility cost $4.1 million to construct.

Westside Youth Soccer provided $667,000 toward the overall cost.
