Murphy, candidate Central Okanagan-Similkameen-Nicola

Castanet has invited all the Central Okanagan federal candidates for sit-down video interviews as election day approaches on Oct. 21.

Mary-Ann Murphy is the Liberal candidate for the riding of Central Okanagan-Similkameen-Nicola.

Murphy says the biggest issues she's hearing revolve around climate change.

"People lived in this summer speaking in such an anxious way that we'd have another smoked filled July and August," she says.

Murphy says of the Liberal government in Ottawa: "We have a triple-A credit rating as a country, lowest unemployment in 40 years, a million jobs created, primarily full-time in the last four years."

"The reason were are there today is because the Liberal government has chosen to invest in Canadians."
