The Gellatly boat launch will be closed or have limited access for much of next week.
The City of West Kelowna says the boat launch will be closed Sept. 30 and Oct. 1, with just one lane available Oct. 2 to 4, to allow for gas line relocation.
Powers Point Park will also be closed Monday and Tuesday with Willow Point Park closed Wednesday, Thursday, and possibly Friday to accommodate the work.
The relocation is part of the preparation necessary for the Powers Creek bridge replacement that will begin in January.
Final design work is currently being completed on the replacement.
