Police in West Kelowna are looking for a suspect responsible for an assault at Sonic Car Wash early Tuesday.
Cpl. Meghan Foster says the assault took place in the south parking lot near the vacuums about 3:30 a.m.
She says when police arrived, they found a male victim suffering from serious injuries. He continues to be treated at Kelowna General Hospital.
"It is early in the investigation, but investigators believe that the assault on the male victim was not random," said Foster. "Investigators are working to identify the suspect and what events transpired leading up to the assault."
