1 hurt in orchard accident

One man was taken to hospital with unknown injuries resulting from an accident on a West Kelowna orchard.

Emergency crews responded to a call on the property on Campbell Road about 4 p.m. Sunday afternoon.

A drum had apparently fallen or rolled onto the man.

The man was freed and taken by ambulance to Kelowna General Hospital.

Police leaving the scene said very little, except the man was conscious and his injuries didn't appear to be serious.
