Town hall on gas, lumber

A series of town hall meetings in West Kelowna and Penticton will focus on effects of the western oil & gas crisis as well as softwood lumber tariffs on Okanagan business and tourism.

The meetings will be hosted by Conservative MP Shannon Stubbs (Lakeland), the Shadow Minister for Natural Resources.

Stubbs will be joined by Central Okanagan-Similkameen-Nicola MP Dan Albas and South Okanagan-West Kootenay candidate Helena Konanz.

Everyone is welcome to attend and share their experiences and opinions on how the western oil & gas crisis and tariffs on softwood lumber are affecting them.

Town halls will be held Monday at the Riverside Room at the Days Inn Penticton and Tuesday at the Holiday Inn West Kelowna.

Both begin at 6 p.m.
