Sip and shop this Sunday

Get into the holiday spirit today, while sipping, shopping and showing off your ugliest Christmas sweater.

Sips, bites, gifts, ugly Christmas sweaters and a sneak peek of the newly constructed Boucherie Road are just a few things that attendees can expect at the Sip into the Season event on on West Kelowna today.

For the past seven years in December, the Westside Wine Trail has hosted a holiday event where all wineries open their cellar doors to artisans and crafts.
Artisanal jams and chocolates, abstract art, hand-painted wine glasses, natural beauty products as well as culinary stocking stuffers, candles and handcrafted jewellery will be available for purchase at the wineries.
New this year is an ‘Ugly Christmas Sweater’ contest.

Visitors are encouraged to dress festively in Christmas sweaters, red and green, and maybe even throw on some antlers.

Post the photo to Instagram along with the hashtag #westsidewinetrail and be entered into a draw to win a gift certificate to one of the wineries.
With 13 wineries to explore, it is suggested that attendees start right at noon.

Boucherie Road will be temporarily open during the event, allowing easy access to all the wineries.
People are encouraged to visit the three wineries along Glencoe Rd as well as the ones on or near Boucherie Rd.

The event kicks off at noon and ends at 5 p.m.
Participating wineries include Beaumont Family Estate Winery, Ciao Bella Winery, Grizzli Winery, Indigenous World Winery, Kalala Organic Estate Winery, Little Straw Vineyards, Mission Hill Family Estate, Mt. Boucherie Winery, Off the Grid Organic Winery, Quails’ Gate Winery, Rollingdale Winery, the hatch and Volcanic Hills Estate Winery
