West Kelowna cleaning up

The City of West Kelowna is giving itself a once-over.

The city, along with about 130 volunteers, will be giving the community a spring cleaning, Saturday.

They will be roaming city streets and parks throughout West Kelowna cleaning up litter and debris in an effort to make the community "more beautiful."

Volunteers are then treated to a barbeque lunch in the Westbank Lions Community Centre parking lot.

Motorists are asked to use extra caution while on the roads from 9 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.
