Looking for something fun to do this coming Family Day?
The Paige Foundation is hosting its fifth annual Princess and Superhero Family Day Skate in support of childhood cancer research.
The event takes place Monday, 10 a.m. to noon at Royal LePage Place in West Kelowna.
The event is a family fun skate featuring music and door prizes. Dressing up in costumes is encouraged.
The event has been raising awareness and funds for pediatric cancer research in memory of Paige Moench, who passed away in August 2013 from leukemia.
Last year, the Paige Foundation donated $40,000 to B.C. Children’s Hospital’s oncology research department.
