BC Conservative candidate Mark Thompson joined Okanagan Oldies 103.9 morning man Gord Vizzutti this morning to talk about the upcoming Kelowna West byelection.
Thompson has previously sought election at both the municipal and provincial levels in Kelowna, and previously served as a councillor in Saskatoon for three terms between 1985 and 1994.
Thompson has a masters in business administration and owns several IT-related business consulting firms.
He was also the deputy leader of the B.C. Conservative Party and has served in other roles.
The byelection for Kelowna West takes place Feb. 14.
Others in the running include: Former MLA Ben Stewart (BC Liberals), Shelley Cook (NDP), Robert Stupka (Green), and Kyle Geronazzo (Libertarian).
