A West Kelowna man is taking a unique approach to selling his home.

He's selling his home for Bitcoins.

The top floor condo at 3545 Carrington Road overlooks the ninth hole at Two Eagles golf course and Okanagan Lake.

“I am a huge advocate of the Bitcoin platform,” said owner Shane Whittle.

As a hobby, Whittle now mines cryptocurrency.

“I figured that I believe in the technology, I believe in the stored value that is being created, I believe in the long term store value,” he said.

So just how much is the condo going for?

“Today’s pricing of Bitcoin is sitting around $9,000 US, it would be a range between 30 to 35 Bitcoins,” he said.

But if you prefer to purchase the condo with cash it's listed for $376,000.
