Two people are back behind bars in connection with a rash of mail thefts from West Kelowna in recent weeks.
Kristina Anderson, 38, and Julian Hoekstra, 43, were arrested on rural property in Peachland over the weekend, residing in what police learned was an RV reported stolen from Kelowna in July.
Police say both had outstanding arrest warrants issued in Penticton in relation to previous charges of possession of stolen mail and mail theft.
Inside the RV, RCMP located what they believe to be more stolen property, stolen mail, and fraudulent documents, including pre-paid gift cards and credit cards.
“Efforts continue to be made in returning any stolen mail and property found to the rightful owners," says RCMP Const. Lesley Smith.
Both Anderson and Hoekstra face numerous additional charges on top of those from the earlier warrant.
