Another crash on Hwy 97

UPDATE: 4:10 p.m.

Photos from the scene of a serious crash in Peachland this afternoon show a silver four-door sedan with heavy damage.

The crash happened on Highway 97, close to where a landslide covered the highway earlier this winter.

The sedan came to rest in the northbound lane of the two-lane stretch, beside the shore of Okanagan Lake.

At least one person was being treated on a stretcher by paramedics.

A pickup with light rear-end damage was also at the scene, though details of the crash and any injuries are unknown at this time.
