While some police officers still remain on scene, police have reopened Shannon Way after closing it this morning.
In what RCMP are just calling a 'sudden death', the bodies of a man and woman were discovered in the woods by someone early this morning.
The RCMP and the BC Coroner’s Service continue to investigate the deaths.

Police swarmed Shannon Lake this morning and have blocked off Shannon Way after the bodies of a man and woman were located.
West Kelowna RCMP responded to a report of sudden death about 7 a.m., after the discovery of two bodies in the area of Shannon Way and Westville Way.
“The investigation is in its early stages,” says Const. Jesse O'Donaghey.
Police say the bodies were discovered in the woods and reported to police.
Multiple undercover and uniformed officers are on the scene and appear to be concentrating on an area that backs on to the 2200 block of Shannon Way.
Shannon Way is blocked from Shannon Lake Road to Westville Way, and two blue canopies have been set up on the road, with officers taking photos of the area.
RCMP and the BC Coroner’s Service are investigating the deaths, which police are not yet calling suspicious.
Traffic is being rerouted via Shannon Ridge Drive.
