False alarm at the West Kelowna Walmart
A possible fire had West Kelowna fire department making a late night run to Walmart last night, but it turned out to be a false alarm.
A store manager named Jordan who did not give his last name told Castanet that a compressor in the automotive department was the culprit.
"A compressor was acting funny, it wasn't in use, but smoke was coming from it," he said. "But there was absolutely no fire, no damage - the fire department was called to check it out just in case."
