The Kelowna Rockets face a virtual must win situation tonight when they play in Seattle in game three of their best of seven Western Conference semi final series.
The Thunderbirds lead the series 2-0, after 2-1 and 3-2 wins in Kelowna this past weekend. The Rockets lost both regular season games in Seattle, falling 4-0 and 3-0.
The Rockets are in the same position as they were a year ago in the second round, when they dropped the opening two games on home ice to the Tri-Cities Americans, before roaring back to win the next four.
Game four in the series goes Thursday night in Seattle. The Rockets must win one of the two games to force a fifth game back at Prospera Place Friday night.
