The Kelowna Rockets and Seattle Thunderbirds open their best of seven Western Conference semi-final series tonight at 7 at Prospera Place.
The two teams split their four meetings during the regular season, with each team winning twice on home ice.
The Rockets advanced to the 2nd round by dispatching the Vancouver Giants in six games, while the T-Birds knocked off Tri-Cities in five. Neither team has played since last Saturday.
Rockets defenseman Shea Weber, who hasn't played since suffering a knee injury late in the regular season, is not expected to suit up for the first two games of the series.
Game two is tomorrow night at Prospera Place. The series then shifts to Seattle for games three and four next Tuesday and Thursday.
