Rockets Playoffs Round One To Be Televised On Shaw TV

Ron Robison, Commissioner of the Western Hockey League and Shaw Cablesystems today announced that the entire first round series of the 2005 WHL Playoffs between the defending MasterCard Memorial Cup Champions Kelowna Rockets and the Vancouver Giants will be televised live on Shaw TV throughout Western Canada.

“This is the second year that Shaw has produced the playoffs and broadcast the games to western Canadians,“ said Peter Bissonnette, President of Shaw Communications. “Many WHL teams are based in communities that Shaw serves, so we are proud to be able to showcase these teams during the Playoff run.”

The first game of the series begins Friday, March 25th at 7:00 PM PST from Prospera Place.
