Rockets Shutout Cougars

  • Mike Cardscored the only goal of the game 29 seconds into the 2nd period as the Kelowna Rockets shutout the visiting Prince George Cougars 1-0. Derek Yeomans kicked aside 18 shots for his 5th goose egg of the season. The Rockets and Cougars head north for back to back games Friday and Saturday in Prince George.
  • Morris Peterson poured in a career-high 37 points as the Toronto Raptors capped a five-game homestand with a 104-93 win over the Boston Celtics on Wednesday. Chris Bosh had a career-high 26 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for his fifth-consecutive double-double, as the Raptors improved to 14-22 and went 4-1 in their five games at the Air Canada Centre.Full story
