The Kelowna Rockets will battle the Tri-City Americans in the best-of-seven Western Conference semi-final series. Games one and two in the series will be played at Prospera Place Friday April 2nd and Saturday April 3rd. The series will move to Tri-Cities for games three and four Tuesday April 6th and Wednesday April 7th.
The Rockets swept the Kootenay Ice in 4 straight in their opening round series, while the Americans dispatched Portland in 5. The two teams met four times in the regular season, with the Americans holding the series edge. The Rockets managed just a win and a tie in four meetings.
