Trio of Blazers crack NHL Central Scouting preliminary rankings

Three Blazers on NHL radar

Three Kamloops Blazers have cracked NHL Central Scouting’s preliminary rankings.

D-man Kaden Hammell, forward Connor Levis and goaltender Dylan Ernst were included in the list, which was published on Tuesday. Hammell and Levis were rated B prospects, while Ernst was rated a C.

In his second campaign with the Blue and Orange, Hammell, 17, has two goals and one assist for three points in 10 games played so far this season.

Levis, who is in his third season with the club, has put up four goals and 10 assists for 14 points in 10 games. The 18-year-old has 70 points in 100 career games as a Blazer.

Ernst, 18, is also in his third season with the Blazers. In eight games so far this season, he is 4-3-0-1 with a 3.27 goals-against average and a .902 save percentage.

Five non-roster Blazers also made the list — forwards Austin Burnevik, Cameron Johnson, Kaden Shahan and Cooper Conway, as well as goaltender Calvin Vachon.
