Rockets Shutout

The Kelowna Rockets were shutout as the Western Hockey League announced the 2006-07 Western Conference all-star teams.

The league champion Everett Silvertips led the way with four players selected to the first and second all-star teams.

Forwards Peter Mueller and Zack Hamill were named to the first team while goaltender Leland Irving and defenceman Jason Fransoo were second team selections.

Players named to the first all-star team include:
  • Goaltender – Carey Price, Tri-City Americans
  • Defenceman – Cody Franson, Vancouver Giants
  • Defenceman – Ray Macias, Kamloops Blazers
  • Forward – Aaron Gagnon, Seattle Thunderbirds
  • Forward – Peter Mueller, Everett Silvertips
  • Forward – Zach Hamill, Everett Silvertips


Players named to the second all-star team include:
  • Goaltender – Leland Irving, Everett Silvertips
  • Defenceman – Ty Wishart, Prince George Cougars
  • Defenceman – Thomas Hickey, Seattle Thunderbirds (tie)
  • Defenceman - Jason Fransoo, Everett Silvertips (tie)
