The Kelowna Rockets have scheduled a news conference for Friday morning outside the team's dressing room.
It's expected the team will unveil its new captain.
The Rockets went without a captain last season and, prior to the 2019-20 season, named Nolan Foote, Kyle Topping and Dillon Hamaliuk as three assistants.
Last season, Foote, Topping and Kaedan Korczak wore the "A."
Cal Foote was the last captain of the Rockets, wearing the "C" during the 2017-18 season.
