Three veteran members of the Kelowna Rockets have returned to the team from NHL rookie camps.
Goaltender Kristofer Westblom and defenseman Tysen Dowzak have been reassigned by the Minnesota Wild while Kelowna native and forward Clayton Bauer will be returning from the Vancouver Canucks’ rookie camp.
Five other Rockets will remain with NHL clubs after being invited to their teams main camps.
Chris Ray will be attending the main camp of the Canucks which opens in Vernon this week.
Justin Keller and Clayton Barthel have been invited to camp with Tampa Bay.
Mike Card and Kyle Cumiskey have earned invites to the main camps of Buffalo and Colorado respectively.
Both Keller and Card have been signed by their respective teams.
Blake Comeau, another veteran Rocket will be attending main camp with the New York Islanders but was not required to attend their rookie camp. He too has been signed to a pro contract.
