Make it seven straight---and counting.
The Kelowna Rockets dropped their seventh in a row on the road Wednesday night, falling 5-1 in Medicine Hat.
Troy Bodie, with his 16th of the season scored the lone Rockets goal on a power-play midway through the second period---cutting the deficit to 3-1, and giving the Rockets some renewed life.
But, power-play goals by Brett Robertson at the end of the second and Tommy Maxwell in the third, ended any thought of a Rockets comeback.
Chris Stevens with a pair and Daine Todd also scored for the Tigers, who lead the Central Division and overall WHL standings with 56 points.
The loss leaves the Rockets eight points in back of Vancouver and Kootenay who share top spot in the BC Division. The fourth place Prince George Cougars are just three points back.
The Rockets will try to win their first game on the road in two months when they play in Calgary Friday. They end their four game Alberta swing in Red Deer Saturday.
