Rockets On A Roll

Derek Yeomans is feeling no ill effects of a knee injury that cut short his 2004-2005 season.

Yeomans turned in his second spectacular performance in four days, leading the Rockets to a 3-0 victory over the visiting Prince Albert Raiders Wednesday night.

On Sunday, Yeomans turned aside 28 of 29 shots in a 3-1 victory in Everett. Wednesday, he blocked all 19 shots in recording his first shutout of the season.

Yeomans got all the offensive support he needed in the second period when the Rockets did all their scoring. Troy Bodie with his fifth and Chris Ray with his second scored on the power play. Justin Keller added his third of the year even strength late in the period. Keller also had an assist, while linemate Blake Comeau added a pair of assists.

In the four games since Comeau rejoined the team from the camp of the New York Islanders, the line of Comeau, Keller and Bodie have accounted for eight of the Rockets 11 goals.

The win evens the Rockets record at 3-3 as they hit the road for a six game-eight day road trip through the Eastern Division, beginning Friday night in Regina.
