"Frank", the contraversial nude sculpture in Penticon, won't be going back up anytime soon in Penticton.
Penticton City Council voted unanimously Monday to keep Michael Hermesh's contraversal nude statue "The Baggage Handler" out of public display. At one point, some city councillors asked Hermesh to cover the figure's genitals.
The two-metre statue was removed from a traffic roundabout in February after a series of vandalism. In January someone chopped off the two-metre sculpture's penis.
Hermesh estimated the cost of repairs to be $20,000 - too high for Penticton Council.
