Vernon Fire Rescue Services responded to fire call that turned out to just be steam

Vernon Fire Rescue Services were called to the Intermezzo Restaurant Friday morning.

Callers thought they saw smoke billowing from the popular eatery, but it turned out to be steam.

Fire crews arrived quickly after receiving the call and determined there was no fire before returning back to station.
