Drainage work on Tronson Road to affect traffic at three sites

City crews continue to work on drainage improvements along Tronson Road.

Starting Thursday, crews will be working on the 7900 block of Tronson Road, west of Kennedy Lane, requiring single-lane, alternating traffic.

The work is expected to be complete by the weekend.

After the work, temporary cold mix asphalt will be used to patch the road until the city's asphalt plant opens in the spring and permanent repairs can be made.

The project is part of drainage improvements at three separate areas along Tronson.

The work will require regrading, new storm mains, ditching and outlets.

Work at all three sites is expected to be complete in April.

Watch for construction workers, slow down in work zones, and follow all traffic control measures.
