Work is set to begin on drainage improvements along Tronson Road in Vernon.
Residents may notice construction beginning this week and continuing into spring.
Crews will be conducting work on drainage improvements along three separate portions of the road, the City of Vernon says.
The work will require the regrading of asphalt, new storm mains, ditching and outlets.
Crews are expected to work until mid-December, weather permitting, and then resume early in the new year.
The work is expected to be complete in April.
Some travel delays should be expected for motorists in the area; however, every effort will be made to minimize disruptions, the city says.
