Ratio Coffee & Pastry will be making tasty creations for a good cause this Christmas season.
The downtown Vernon eatery will be raising funds for the NONA Child Development Centre with sales of unique NONA-themed doughnuts.
Ratio is teaming up with NONA for the Lights for Kids fundraiser.
Its pastry chefs will create unique NONA-themed doughnuts that will be available every Friday during December.
One dollar from each doughnut will go towards the fundraiser.
"We hope you come enjoy one - or a few - during the month of December," says owner Andrew McWilliam.
The NONA partnership with Ratio complements the John Christmas Light Tour, which runs from Dec. 5 to 31.
"We can't wait to see what scrumptious doughnut they come up with," NONA said in a press release.
NONA's downtown buildings will also be decked out for Christmas, and the community can view the lights and decor every evening, designed by local artist and longtime NONA supporter Nancy Wilde.
NONA will also be collecting donations on Dec. 17 between 5 and 8 p.m. at a drive-thru event where participants can meet Santa and his helpers, who will give out toys to all the kids.
Services provided by NONA include speech therapy, infant development, autism services and more.
Every year, the organization serves more than 800 children and families.
