Search of Okanagan Lake in Vernon failed to find evidence of missing Kelowna man

Lake search comes up dry

Vernon RCMP say a search of Okanagan Lake off the Tronson Road boat launch did not locate a missing Kelowna man.

Vernon Search and Rescue combed the waters Thursday and Friday, but did not find any signs of missing man Dillon Angle, whose vehicle was located in the area.

"The missing person was not located," says Vernon RCMP spokesperson Const. Chris Terleski.

"We will continue our efforts to locate Mr. Angle, and it will be up to the investigative team to determine the most appropriate course of action moving forward."

Angle, 32, was reported missing after the discovery of his abandoned vehicle at the boat launch on Oct. 19.
