Vernon photographer Tom Skinner to be featured in national magazine

A Vernon photographer is being featured in Our Canada Magazine.

Tom Skinner, a former educator and popular local photographer, will have some of his pictures published in the December 2022/January2023 edition in an article called Cold Snaps.

“It also has suggestions for photographers and outdoor enthusiasts,” Skinner posted on his Facebook page. “I know the readership is advertised at two million, so if you are not a subscriber, I can tell you the magazines can be found in Save On Foods, Shoppers Drug Mart and I believe Walmart across Canada.”

Skinner said he is planning to sell some prints at Butcher Boys.

He also plans to post more pictures to social media.

“I will feature a few more pics during the week, including some that were printed, and some that were not. I am noticing a lot of interesting winter photos on Facebook, and encourage people to continue getting outside with your camera,” he said.
