A third Dollarama store is about to open in Vernon.
Crews are busy preparing the former Kindale thrift store and Valley First Credit Union building across from Surplus Herby's, at the corner of 31st Avenue and 34th Street.
Signage is going up and shelving and displays are being installed inside.
Local management at the site said there is no official opening date yet, but that they hope to be open by the end of the month.
The downtown location brings to three the number of Dollarama stores in Vernon.
The other two are located at Vernon Square and the Shops at Polson Park.
Dollarama was founded in Matane, Que., in 1992 and now has more than 1,000 locations across the country.
