Voting opens for People's Choice in Vernon Business Excellence Awards

Vote for People's Choice

Voting has begun for People's Choice in the Greater Vernon Chamber’s Business Excellence Awards.

Now through Oct. 11, the public can vote for their favourite among nominated businesses and non-profits in the awards' 15 categories.

“Residents are very clear that they support local, and the People’s Choice Award gives them a chance to recognize a business or non-profit,” says chamber general manager Dan Proulx.

“Nominees also play a significant role as they can encourage their customers, employees, family and friends to vote to increase their opportunity of being named the People’s Choice.”

For 2022, two People's Choice awards will be presented – one for the business and one for the non-profit that receive the most votes.

You can cast your votes here.

The People’s Choice Award doubles as a fundraiser, with 100 per cent of funds raised going to the Canadian Mental Health Association – Vernon and District branch.

You can vote for free as many times as you want, with bulk voting available for purchase.

“The need for mental health services and awareness is increasing for those in business and our community. This was certainly highlighted throughout the pandemic and it continues to be a challenge. We want to thank those who vote and support CMHA in its efforts to provide services for those struggling with mental health issues,” said Proulx.

Winners will be announced at the awards on Nov. 3.
