A portion of Highway 97A north of Armstrong is closed in one direction as a result of a serious collision.
The crash occurred sometime shortly before 6 p.m. Monday afternoon.
According to witnesses at the scene, the collision involved a car and a semi.
Both vehicles are said to have flipped.
Pictures sent to Castanet News shows a semi on its roof down a small embankment. Several emergency vehicles are also on the scene.
It appears as if one lane of the highway has been kept open for alternating traffic.
There's not indication when the scene will be cleared.
