A water quality advisory has been lifted for Vernon's Kin Beach.
The advisory had been issued last week due to elevated bacterial counts.
The City of Vernon rescinded the advisory Friday, just in time for the Canada Day long weekend and anticipated busy times at local beaches.
Water quality advisory signage is being removed from the beach this afternoon, and the beach has reopened to the public.
