Erich Penner has collected a lot of good books recently
The North Okanagan man has gathered 7,500 Christian books, including numerous copies of “The Good Book” that will be shipped overseas.
Penner is a member of the North Okanagan Valley Gleaners and is working with Christian Salvage Mission out of Ontario to distribute the books.
The books were loaded into a shipping container and will be sent to countries where the materials are needed.
Penner collected the books through donors from Sicamous to Kelowna.
