More school exposures

Interior Health is reporting more possible COVID exposures at North Okanagan schools.

A potential exposure was reported at Vernon's Hillview Elementary Nov. 22 and 23.

Okanagan Landing Elementary School reported potential exposures on Nov. 22, 23, 24, 25, and 26.

W.L. Seaton Secondary had a potential exposure Nov. 24.

Three schools in the Salmon Arm area also had exposures.

The Sullivan Campus of Salmon Arm Secondary School had an exposure Nov. 18-19, while Ranchero and North Shuswap elementary schools reported exposures Nov. 22-25.

According to the IH school exposure website, when a school staff member or student tests positive for COVID-19, public health will notify staff and students who need to take a specific action, such as self-monitoring or isolation, as a result of a COVID-19 exposure.

Interior Health will post exposure notifications when a staff member or student attended school while infectious and there is a possible risk of exposure to COVID-19.
