Boil-water notice for Grindrod residents rescinded by RDNO

Boil-water notice lifted

A boil-water notice has been lifted for Grindrod residents.

The Regional District of North Okanagan, Grindrod Water Utility (GRW), in conjunction with Interior Health, has rescinded the precautionary boil water notice for customers supplied by the utility.

All bacterial testing results, turbidity and disinfection (chlorine) levels are within drinking water standards, the RDNO says.

The advisory had been issued last week due to high turbidity in the Shuswap River.
