Interior Health is reporting two private schools in Vernon have had COVID exposures.
According to the IH school exposure website, St. James School had a potential exposure Oct. 4 and 5 while the Vernon Christian School each had exposures Oct. 5, 6, 7 and 8.
“When a school staff member or student tests positive for COVID-19, public health will notify staff and students who need to take a specific action, such as self-monitoring or isolation, as a result of a COVID-19 exposure,” said a statement on the IH website.
“Interior Health will post exposure notifications when a staff member or student attended school while infectious and there is a possible risk of exposure to COVID-19.”
Schools will be removed from the list 14 days after exposure date.
