Coldstream cancels Halloween fireworks again due to pandemic

No Halloween fireworks

There will be no Halloween fireworks in Coldstream again this year.

The event has been cancelled for a second year due to public health orders because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the District of Coldstream announced.

The Halloween display is usually put on by the Coldstream Fire Department, consisting of members from the Coldstream and Lavington firehalls.

The department will be carrying forward funds set aside for the fireworks in hopes of putting together a fireworks display in 2022.
