Vernon Public Art Gallery to feature live performances by the Sounds Suspicious Musicians Collective

Suspicious gallery event

Some suspicious characters will be associating with the Vernon Public Art Gallery.

On Oct. 22, the VPAG will be hosting a unique art party featuring live performances by the Sounds Suspicious Musicians Collective.

Art After Dark is a soiree-style party designed to cultivate those looking for a unique night on the town. Featuring appetizers, drinks, wine tasting, live music, interactive and collaborative art activities, photo rooms and current exhibitions all in one evening at the downtown gallery, 3228 – 31st Ave.

Musicians Andrew Judah, Oakmoss (James Balehowsky), Chloe Davidson, and Sean Waters will be performing at this music-inspired event.

The Sounds Suspicious exhibition: The Intersection of Art and Music will be on display in the gallery as well.

“The VPAG continually strives to provide fun and unique events that provide a gathering place for individuals to enjoy arts and culture. We hope to welcome people back slowly but surely as we adjust to the new ‘normal’ format of events. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we implement the mandatory screening of vaccine passports required to host this public event,” said Dauna Kennedy, VPAG executive director.

Wine will be served by Frequency and Vibrant Vines Winery.

Admission is $25 per person and tickets are available online.
