In response to our enquiries, Kelly O’Bryan's said they have had someone test positive and decided to close to keep staff and customers safe.
They have not been ordered to close. Instead, management made the decision to temporarily shut in order to quickly curb any possible further transmissions.
the restaurant has been advised by Interior Health to tell anyone who dined there, who might be worried about their health, to self-monitor for any symptoms, and contact 811 if you have any concerns.

The message on the answering machine is short on details, but Kelly O’Bryan’s in Vernon is temporarily closed.
The restaurant has also posted a notice on its website.
It says, ‘Due to COVID-19, we are closed until further notice to keep our staff and customers safe. Thank you for your understanding and support.’
