Vernon Petro-Canada station has cranked up the price of gas to 145.9

Petro-Canada in Vernon has raised the price at the pump.

According to gasbuddy.com, as of 4:30 p.m. Wednesday June 9, the station was selling a litre of gas for 145.9.

Super Save and Safeway were selling the liquid gold for 125.9 while other stations in town were sitting at 127.9.

Kelowna motorists are paying between 134.9 and 145.9 per litre, while Penticton drivers are shelling out 137.9 to 145.9.

It is costing Kamloops drivers 131.9 to 145.9 a litre to fill up.

Across the border in Omak, Wash. motorists are paying $3.42 a gallon, or roughly 85 U.S. cents a litre.
