VSAR reminding people to beware logging trucks on backcountry roads

Vernon Search and Rescue are reminding people to be careful when travelling on area back roads.

As the summer progresses and more people head to the back country, VSAR cautions roads such as King Eddy, Noble Canyon and various roads throughout the Valley are active logging roads.

And that means, large trucks with heavy loads will be navigating the narrow, windy mountain roads.

The volunteer group posted a video to their Facebook page with tips for anyone venturing onto an active logging road.
