Load restrictions are in place on City of Vernon roads.

Load restrictions have been put in place for all Vernon roads.

Roads will be limited to a legal axle loading 70 per cent, pursuant to Section 606 of the City of Vernon Traffic Bylaw #2747.

Overweight permits will not be granted and all term overweight permits are invalid for the duration of the restrictions.

City officials are asking the public, and trucking and transportation companies to govern themselves accordingly.
