EverRae Mobile Spa is raising money to help mother with special needs daughter

Spa helps mother and child

A local business has stepped up to help a woman replace a stroller for her special needs daughter.

EverRae Mobile Spa is donating 15 per cent of all services toward buying a new stroller for the mother and child.

The stroller was recently stolen from her front porch.

“Her mother and her are very upset and don't have the ability to replace it at this time. Lets come together and help this family the best we can! If you would like to make a donation you can e-transfer me at [email protected],” said the Facebook post which was shared to the Vernon & Area Community Forum.

“All donations will be directly put towards helping these two as well as proof of every e-transfer and donation will be posted as well”

A note from the unidentified mother showed her appreciation.

“That would be incredibly amazing. My stroller was worth $600 and gifted to my daughter from Cops for Kids just last year. I am so heart broken. We have no other means of transportation and she absolutely loves going for walks and we use it for grocery shopping and everything else daily. She’s four years old severely autistic and non verbal, so walking isn’t an option for us. I’m a single mama and her full time care,” she said.
