Nala and owner reunited after pup was stolen last week

Nala has been found.

Nala is back where she belongs.

The five-month-old black Pyrenees-lab with white feet, was taken from the temporary shelter at the Vernon curling rink sometime overnight on Monday, Aug. 3.

Nicola Sanders posted pictures of Nala and a plea for information on Nala's whereabouts on social media.

She also reached out to local media and the SPCA in hopes of recovering the pooch.

She said son and Nala were very bonded and he was desperate for her return.

On Friday, Nala was picked up from animal control in Vernon, much to the delight of the pup and Sander's son.
